Air
arrangements can be made through the cruise line (recommended) or you can
add personal flight schedules.

booking online, please

We
strongly
recommend
allowing adequate time
for transfer between airport and the
cruise ship.
Please consider time required for airport security
checks, and customs procedures for international
flights.
The distance between airport and the cruise ship varies
by port. You should plan on arriving at the ship no
later than 2 hours before the ship's departure.
For
return flights home, please make sure you DO NOT book
your flight too early. After your ship arrives in port,
it has to go through Customs and Immigration procedures
before the ship is "cleared". This will take several
hours. The bigger the ship, the longer it will take.
Return flights should be scheduled no earlier than 6 1/2
to 7 hours after arrival. For Caribbean cruises the
"rule of thumb" is that you schedule your flight arrival
before the cruise no later than 1 pm, and your departure
after the cruise no earlier than 2 pm.
Cruise line ground transfer
service can be purchased
separately, even if you make your own
air arrangements. We recommend that you do use the
cruise line's ground transfers for Alaska cruises and
cruises from international ports.
Please note
that if you make your own air arrangements, airline
cancellation policies will apply from the time of
purchase. These policies differ depending on the
airline, and may include NON-REFUNDABLE fares.
Consider
arriving a day early, and leaving a day late.
What could be better than an extra day on the beach
before your Caribbean cruise?
We recommend a 2 night stay in Europe, so that you will
have time to relax and explore.
It will also provide peace of mind in case of flight
delays or cancelled flights.
